Anjanette Sidaway Blossom top

Since third grade when her teacher suggested to her mother that she had a certain aptitude for the arts, Anjanette has pursued her artistic career. Her education has consisted of private tutors, summer art schools, and museum classes. She received foundation courses at the Moore College of Art & Design in Philadelphia and a bachelor of fine arts degree from The Cleveland Insititute of Art in metalsmithing, with minors in both weaving and photography.

For several years Anjanette worked as an assistant to master goldsmith, James Mazurkewicz, at Potter & Mellen, Inc. a cottage industry in Cleveland, Ohio specializing in fine giftware and jewelry. Her training then continued as a designer for Dia Knitwear in Middlebury, Vermont, and also as a designer for Danforth Pewter. For the past two years she has been the lead designer for Baobei, a women's knitwear company in NYC. She holds an instructors degree with the Ohara School of Japan in ikebana, the Japanese art of flower arranging. Anjanette believes that "to be truly exceptional is to be a part of every aspect of design.

Anjanette lives and designs in the heart of the Green Mountains in Ripton, Vermont, where inspiration is only a heartbeat away.
